Have The Khans Got License To Misbehave And Abuse?

One more time the IPL came out to the media with a sour note. The misbehavior controversy of Shahrukh Khan was yet to get away, an American lady was allegedly molested in the Maurya Sheraton hotel in Chanakyapuri area of New Delhi by an Australian cricketer Luke Pomersbach  playing for the IPL team of Bangaluru. Within half an hour duration from the report getting filed, the Delhi police arrested the player who reportedly made an attempt to flee. He was charged with IPC 354 that penalizes one for molesting a lady and IPC 323 that penalizes one for beating and assaulting someone. The player assaulted the fiancé of the lady as reports coming in. The lady has been sent to the Primus Hospital for the primary medical tests to verify the allegations.

On the other hand, yesterday we have seen another drama by the great drama king, the self styled king of Bollywood, Mr. Shahrukh Khan who has always been more famous for his controversies rather than his acting talents at the

international forums. Take the cases of the regular detention of him by the custom officers of the United States. The night before yesterday he forcibly entered the Wankhede stadium of Mumbai at a drunken state and when challenged by the security guards at duty, he used abusive languages and physical assaults against the security officials and other officials of the Maharashtra Cricket Association (MCA) and Board Of Cricket Control India (BCCI). The CCTV footages for the assaults and other dramas are available with the media. He has been banned for lifetime to enter the stadium. Even FIR’s have been filed against him and the cricket control authorities have demanded an apology from him that the great self styled king denied to offer and instead counter demanded an apology from the poor security guard and the other officials. He even said that it was they who assaulted him and his daughter was manhandled.

What is surprising here is that while the Australian player has been arrested on the basis of the IPC 323, why not Shahrukh too was arrested on the same charges and on the fact of doing the same crime? Bullshit is the fact that an Indian law is being applicable to the foreigner inside the Indian land but not on a so-called Indian like Shahrukh Khan. Why? Is it because Shahrukh thinks he is above the law and even the government has a co-opinion? Or is it because an American victim is more important than an Indian victim?

This was the police side of the discrimination. Let us have a look on the media side of the discrimination. In all sections of the media, Hindi, English and Bengali media Shahrukh, the criminal was sympathized and his opponents were victimized. I want to hold three examples, the media coverage by three news channels Zee News (Hindi), Times Now (English), News Time (Bengali).

Despite the clear photographs of the drunk Shahrukh every media house was putting a question mark on the allegations. Zee News, after finding no way to defend Shahrukh tried to divert the issue by dragging BCCI into the controversy so that it seems that it was the BCCI to avenge Shahrukh Khan for the enmity BCCI never posed to the drama king.

Supriyo Roy Karmakar, the sports editor of the News Time however displayed uneditorly attitude by his opinions on the event. They distorted the story and created a headline, “Sharukh Targetted in Mumbai”. Can you believe?  The uneditorly editor analyzed two reasons for the so called strike on Shahrukh:

1. MCA was frustrated at the defeat of the Mumbai Indians by Kolkata Knight Riders owned by the drama king.
2. SRK has owned KKR and not MI.

By logic on earth one can explain how would it affect the status and income of the MI team if SRK owns it or someone else owns it? None can also explain why should be MCA get frustrated for the alleged frustration of MI? One can hardly explain why BCCI gets into all these sentiments and emotions among the so called “Marathi organizations” (as projected by News Time on 18/05/2012 10:50 AM) and assaults for the “proud of the nation(????????) Shahrukh”!

And now moving to the special Newshour debate called by the Times Now channel last night on the issue. There were various panelists who were so toxicated by the Shahrukh appeasement that they are openly shamelessly defending Shahrukh and victimizing the poor security guard who was honestly doing only his duty. What those panelists wanted to say? Loosen the laws for the great drama king?

It is also out of our minds how is the BJP politicians suddenly started defending and sponsoring Shahrukh, one of the most anti-National elements in India. Both Kirti Azad and Shaina NC defended Shahrukh. BJP should take control of its talkative politicians else they are bound to face unexpected disasters. 

One panelist Dalip Tahil made his mind based on his blind faith on the drama king that he can’t do all these things. “I know Shahrukh Khan very well and he would never do these unless he was badly provoked.” That means even if the drama king has done the crime, it is justified for him and the security guard has to pay the price for his duty. He was probably borrowing a leaf from the allegations of Shahrukh Khan that says the security guard used foul languages

against the drama king in Marathi (to highlight the so called regionalism of Marathis?). When Dalip Tahil got no way to blame the guard with proper logic, he tried the either way. He tried to be little psychiatrist, “it’s the mentality of the security guards that whenever they see a celebrity they try to impress them.”

Can we have a room to laugh? We are no psychiatrist and can hardly analyze what they feel about celebrities. Dalip Tahil is no celebrity either, but he is a proud celebrity that I am certainly not. But we are common Indians and as a common Indians we have a message to the common Indians like us and the security guard.

We have praised them very long and we suppress and ignore their misdeeds blindly. But we wake up only when their wrath falls upon us. The guard must have been a fan of him, if not him, then may be family members but I guarantee today they are not. Today the drama king is kicking at their abdomen and they have woken up. Wake up public and discourage the nefarious designs of the Khans who are trying to hurt you using your own devotion and support.

Though Aranab Goswami, the “editorly(???)” Editor of Times Now tried to be reasonable, made an attempt to drag Akshay Kumar into the controversy and defend the drama king by maligning the real Action King of Bollywood, Akshay Kumar who was not even remotely related to the event. He said, “There is a film called Rowdy Rathore by Akshay Kumar shot on Humpy. What if all people go there and celebrate their birthday and jump there, will they be allowed?” Wow, nice logic, yet bullshit. But nice and expected from editors like Arnab Goswami. When Humpy is being shot in the movie that also contributes to the tourism-scopes of the place and the movie-makers have taken permission for that. If the personal birthday parties also contribute to the adverts of the spot, then no problem with those parties. Action King and drama king can’t be compared in this field. Yes, the comparison may be done between Rowdy Rathore and Rang De Basanti where Amir Khan has sipped and chilled whiskey at the India gate and drove ruthlessly at the same place at night time. Would the youngsters of Delhi be allowed to do that? But Arnab Goswami has hardly the courage to question Amir. This is the courage of the great “editorly” editor.

Now our message to Akshay Kumar: “You have propagated enough pro-Muslim secularism through your films. You are just another “secular” like them, but see, even your own secularism has been back as boomerang to you. You are being prosecuted for a crime you didn’t even do and were not even remotely related. They know that Shahrukh Khan has been famous for his misbehavior be it to Sirish Kunder or to the US custom officers but yet none is ready to blame him. And you are blamed for the things you didn’t do. Shahrukh was even found violating law in Jaipur Stadium on April 13, 2012; and the Rajasthan police charged Rajasthan Cricket Association with Rs. 200/- for that. This is the bullshit law of this nation, never applicable to Khans. Don’t mess it anyway, Akshay. Who knows, sometime they will use you as a shield for even bigger crime?”

The only courageous face among the panelists was Simi Chandoke, editor of Lifestyle Society,  who directly called the drama king on loud voice, to be “Alcoholic”. He also questioned the fall-prey trend of the law to another Khan, Salman Khan; “If I drive a car whose license I don’t have, I am penalized. If I run over people …(smile)…but when Salman Khan drives an auto-rickshaw whose license he clearly doesn’t have, people say; oh God, how much down to earth he is; even if he is drunk. Why don’t the police nab him for driving an auto in a drunken state?”

Well, our answer to Simi Chandoke is that, probably the Indian constitution has some un-scribbled law that Khans are licensed to misbehave and misconduct against anyone they wish. Remember Shahrukh Khan beating Sirish Kunder, the husband of Farah Khan? The drama king didn’t even apologized and in fact Farah and her brother Sajid went to the drama center Mannat to solve the issue which originated just from a joke on the flop outcome of his film Ra.One . Sirish only tweeted “150 crore worth balloon burst.” But we must say that Bollywoodians lack self respect. Drama king refused to apologized, the victims compromised and know what; Sirish tweeted again, “Thappad se dar nahi lagta sahib, Ra.One se lagta hai (I don’t fear an assault, I am only afraid of Ra.One)” copying a dialogue from Dabangg, another Khan project. This is how he made a joke to others about his own self respect.

Isn’t it the same Shahrukh Khan who abused Katrina and Aishwarya through foul languages in the birthday party of Katrina Kaif three years ago? He also had a dog fight with Salman.

So Salman is a victim? No, he goes no less. He is a bloody killer, a murderer who murdered four sleeping footpath resident and believe what, he sponsors a brand “Being Human”. He has a track record of abusing the female co-stars.

What about other Khans? Salman’s brothers? Remember Sohail Khan misbehaving with public in a Mumbai based bar? The bars have become the center of hooliganism for so many Khan-stars. Remember Zaid Khan and Fardeen Khan assaulting females and others in another bar in Mumbai?

Amir Khan? The self styled perfectionist? Provided that he was not Khan, and more specifically a Bollywoodian Khan, he would probably end up behind the bars, we mean iron-bars for killing a royal stag.

Saif Ali Khan? Remember the assault on Iqbal Sharma, an NRI businessman and his wife and 80 years old father-in-law whose jaw was broken by the punch of the great Saif?

What do these Khans think? They are very brave? We can see how brave they are. Historically they always used Hindus against Hindus: Akbar used Man Singh against Maharana Pratap Singh; Aurangzeb used Jai Singh against Shivaji (the list goes on). After 1947 when Hindus were awakened, the Khan armies have attacked Indians in general and Hindus in particular thrice, and met shameless defeats every time like 1948, 1965, and 1971 and recently in 1997.

Khans didn’t get bravery. Its all the political support they have, else when face to face, they cant even survive even a common non-Khan.

What is strange here is that while the government and media are busy with cricket 1200 Indian laborers in Angola are left to die at the hands of the Islamic militants. None is thinking about them and taking any steps. Indian government and foreign ministry fall prey to even the weakest Islamic state. That’s the pity. When the Khans do crime, they are defended; when any Christian does any crime he is punished in India onl;y to divert attention from Khans but when Indian people’s lives are at stake, none even cares.
